Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. My favourite quote is by Maya Angelou. “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” I hope you join me in my search for my creative side. Thanks for stopping by!

3D Flowers at Come and Get It Challenges

This is my last week on the guest design team at Come and Get it Challenges. I cannot believe 6 months have gone by. I have enjoyed the challenge, meet some wonderful people and have learnt a lot about challenge blogs. Cindy, Leslie, Shell and Julie have very dedicated to making sure the Come and Get It is successful. I had not realized how many hours are put in to running a challenge blog . Thank you for inviting Meighan and I to join you.

The challenge this week is 3D flowers and I chose to make an easel card to showcase my flowers. I used Tim Holt’s Tattered Flower die cut to make the flowers and once I had them assembled I wet them with water and crinkled them to give them some shape.

The rubber stamp I used is by Kanban Rubber Stamps and after I had coloured the image I used a silver glitter pen to give her some sparkle.
Come join us at Come and get it Challenges this week.  Thank you for stopping by and happy crafting.

Judy
I am also entering my card in the following challenges.

Crafty Sentiments (flowers)
Tammy's Scrapin Corner (anything goes)
Pink Elephant Challenge (make your own embellishments)
