Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. My favourite quote is by Maya Angelou. “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” I hope you join me in my search for my creative side. Thanks for stopping by!

Successful Fishing

I created this card for a friend who is an avid fisherman for his birthday.  The digital stanp is by Just InkLined, one of my favourite digital stamp companies. I coloured the image with my Copic Markers and Distress Inks then layered some extra fish to complete the scene.

I hope he enjoys my card.  Thanks for stopping by today.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

  2. Judy, your friend is going to appreciate your card so much because it is custom designed just for him, and it has all your amazing, special touches! Love the way you have used the fish in different ways. Your shading and coloring look great - not too intense - just right for the type of image - I have so much trouble with that. Love the oval frame and your embellishments!
