Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. My favourite quote is by Maya Angelou. “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” I hope you join me in my search for my creative side. Thanks for stopping by!

May All Your Dreams Come True

My turn at Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge this week to pick the theme of the challenge and I chose the theme of Christmas birds for your card.  We also have a sponsor this week, Fred, She Said Designs and there is a prize for one lucky winner of the this challenge.

For my card I used Fred's Christmas Chickadee as the focal point of my card.  I coloured the bird with my Copic Markers and white Gelly Roll pen.   I then added a sentiment, glitter tape and some glitter on my image and my card was complete.

Come join us at Holly Jolly .  Need some inspiration pop over to the Holly Jolly blog and see the creations of the other design team members.  Thanks for stopping by and have a creative day.

  3. Beautiful card! I especially love the sentiment

Thank you once again for giving me the Liebster Award... after so long, I finally was able to "pay it forward"

I'm really sorry I'm just doing it now. After my move, I'm left with no internet service and have to borrow from my sister-in-law to use it. Thank you again!
