Playing with my Gelatos

I love the vibrant colours and sparkle of this card.  The background  is textured wall paper coloured with Gelatos and Glimmer Mist.  It was a fun messy background to make.  The directions card be found in the new Technique Junkies Newsletter (June/July 2103).

The Monarch butterfly is a  stamp by Stamp Oasis that I have had for many years,  I coloured the butterfly with PanPastels and erased some of the colour to give the butterfly variation of colours, then added with my white gell pen some white lines and dots.

Thank you for stopping by today. Remember my favourite quote by by Maya Angelou. “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” Do something creative for yourself today.

Judy

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Opus Gluei - Wings

  4. Oh, I literally just purchased my first Gelatos today and have been oohing and ahhing over the rich shades. Now I see you have created with them and the effect is beautiful. I love that you've used them over a textured background with such success, it really sets off the vivid image of the butterfly beautifully. You really let your creativity take WINGS, and that happens to be perfect for our Opus Gluei challenge, I'm delighted you came over to play with us, Judy, hope you come back!
