Happy Bird Day

I tried to resist but I just had to have the set of Tim Holtz' Bird Crazy rubber stamps and dies. They are  adorable.  I love the cute little birds and all the little add ons you can get to go with them.  I decided to use one of the birds for a birthday card for my sister.

The card was coloured with Copics and distressed inks.  I added the background by pooling several colours of Distress ink on a craft mate and dipped my stencil on the ink and pressed the stencil on to the water colour paper.  The balloons, party hat and present are part of the accessory set of the bird crazy stamps.

To complete my card I added a couple of sentiments and a balloons strings.
Thank you for stopping.
