About Me

Okanagan, BC, Canada
Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. My favourite quote is by Maya Angelou. “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” I hope you join me in my search for my creative side. Thanks for stopping by!

Mixed Media Canvas- Old Warehouse

This is this month's project for Altered Eclectics I have tried my hand at a mixed media canvas which I titled "0ld Warehouse"front.  I was recently in Montreal and I was very interested in the old buildings especially in their warehouse district.  I fell in love with the colours, age and textures of these buildings.

I created the canvas was created using many different art products and findings including:

acrylic paints
stencils
stamped and written numbers
textured paper
dictionary paper
postage stamps
brad
Croco Crackling Colour Bronze
Tim Holtz Arrow Dies

Thank you for stopping by and have a creative week.  Remember to stop by the Altered Eclectics challenge blog to see the very creative ideas of the rest of the design team.

I am entering this canvas in the following challenges:
