Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. My favourite quote is by Maya Angelou. “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” I hope you join me in my search for my creative side. Thanks for stopping by!

New Realease at SLS LInes - wooden birthday card

Time for new releases at SLS Lines and I decided to choose one of the clowns that are in the new release and make a wooden birthday card. The image I used is called Happy Clown with Balloons

I used a wooden frame I found at the dollar store that I painted a combination of bright colours, I added some doodle, flowers and a Happy Birthday stamp. The image was coloured with Copics, glitter pens, white gell pen and diamond glaze.  The doodle were done with a Posca pen.

Here are a couple more views of the card.

To view the other new releases for June check out our challenge blog .  The new collection has some very interesting images.  The design team has been hard at work creating projects to inspire you.

Remember that we have an ongoing challenge also on your blog and you still have time to enter the challenge.

Thank you for stopping by and have a creative day.
