It's a Beautiful Day

The theme of the week's Crafty Cardmakers is Floral Delight.

I love Honeysuckle flowers and decided to create my first spring project using this flower.   They remind me of my childhood. This digital stamp  is by Arty Pants and I coloured the image with water colours. The sentiment and butterfly are rubber stamps from my collection by Inkadinkadoo.

Loved

This is my card for the Love and Romance challenge at Crafty Cardmakers this week, I am giving it to my husband for Valentines Day.

I used one of my gelli plate prints for the background which I stamped with a Italian Love Poem.  "Loved Tag" and butterfly are old rubber stamps from my collection which I coloured with Copics.  I die cut a heart and embossed it with a wood embossing folder, added some lace and a key to my heart to finish the card.

Altered Canvas

This is my altered canvas project for this month's Creative Artiste challenge.  DecoArt  is our fantastic sponsor this month.

I used a couple of stencils and lots of finding from my stash on my  canvas.  The canvas was coloured with a combination of inks, paints, and glitter. Many of the products are from our sponsor DecoArt.

Altered TV Remote Stand

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New year.

This is my first project for 2018 for Altered Eclectics, an altered TV remote box.  I used finding from my stash that included gems, brooches, lace and beads.  I also used several different inks and paints to give my project some colour.

Here are some closer looks.

Dance the Night Away

It is a anything goes challenge at Eclectic Ellapu this month and I decided to use my new ballerina die to make this card for one of the little girls in my family.

The background behind the ballerina is some alcohol ink paper I had made that was left over from a previous project.  The ballerina was coloured with A Wink of Stella and Copic Markers. I had a sentiment and some stars to complete my card.
