Have a Beary Special Day

This is my die cut card for the current challenge at Get Inky!.  The teddy bear with cupcake and sentiments are from Get Inky's collection of rubber stamps. The set has 7 sentiments, the bear with the cupcake and many party favour stamps. Lots of possibilities with this set and you can purchase it here.

I layered my image over a die cut by Spellbinder that I wove a ribbon around and then I added a kite and a balloon die cut from the Up Up and Away set by Spellbinder.  The balloon and kite were stamped with the sentiment and string was added.

There is still lots of time left on this challenge.  I hope you will join in. Judy create your card and enter it here. Do not forget to visit our Blue Moon Creation Craft Site for some great inspirations and tips for creating that special card. Thank you for stopping by.

Anything Goes Challenge at Fitztown

This is my project for this week's challenge at Fitztown, Anything Goes.  I used two of the antique cars from Fitztown's antique car collection for my project, you can find these cars here

I made my tag out of upholstery fabric  that I cut out with Tim Holtz's large tag die cut that I glued on to some heavy craft paper to give the project some strength and then I added some stitching.  My next step was to layer my gears, cars and sentiments. The cars and trim of the sentiments were coloured with Copic Markers.  My last step was to add some dark pearls, a jute cord and Diamond Glaze for the headlights.

There is still time to join in this challenge.  We would love to see your art work.  Just create your project and enter it here

Where the Boys Are

I made this card for a challenge at Come and Get It Challenges.  The Challenge is to make a card with the theme "Where the Boys Are".

I used a digital image from Bugaboo one of the sponsors of the challenge called Gus Fish Whisperer .    I coloured him with my Copic Markers.  I added Diamond Glaze to the water droplet and to Gus' glasses.  The Diamond Glaze shattered a little bit and it looks like Gus' glasses are broken.   The punched fish were done with a punch from my collection by McGill Craftivity.

Thank you for stopping to take a look and have a creative day.

Spots and Stripes Challenge

This is my card I made for the current challenge at Fitztown, spots and stripes.  I used some paper I was saving from a paper pack called All Dressed Up.  I thought it had some great glitter paper that suited the theme of this challenge and my chosen image,  Cameo 1 from Fitztown.  I love her soft looking face and the color combo of pinks, silver and black.  I think the glitter paper, flower and bling gives the card a very grown up dressy look.

Come join in our challenge this week at Fitztown.  We'd love to see what you do with the spots and stripes theme. Thanks for stopping by!
