              Anything Goes with a Sentiment

Hi fellow crafters. It is a Anything Goes Challenge with a Sentiment  at Come and Get IT this week and this is my card I made for the challenge.  QKR Stampede is sponsor of the challenge and I chose to use one of their digital stamps called "all tied up"   for my card.  I love their bear images.

I did not have the appropriate sentiment in my stash so created one on my computer.  I thought it was a good sentiment for the image.  Thank you for stopping by and have a creative day.

              Wet or Dry embossing Challenge

Hello fellow crafters this is my card I made to inspire you this week's challenge at Fitztown.  The challenge is to make you project using a wet or dry embossing technique.   I used one of Morgan Fitzsimons' wedding images for my card.  This lovely image can be purchased here.

The other supplies I used for my card were the Spellbinder Heirloom Legacy die, Savvy sentiment stamp which I embossed with gold embossing powder. I created the leaves and flowers with die cuts from my stash. The paper and bling were also from my stash. I love the Spellbinder create a card die called Heirloom Legacy, along with making a very interesting cut it also embosses a beautiful design on the card.

There is still lots of time to join in the challenge.  Thank you for stopping by and have a very creative day.

              Just for Kids Challenge

Hi, thank you for stopping by to see what I have created today.  I am hosting a Fiztown challenge this week called "Just for Kids".  I just love making cards for little kids as the little ones in my family all know. Here is my card for the challenge.

I thought I would make a colourful card this week with one of the images from Fitztown's vintage images. I paper pieced the clown from pattern papers from my stash and layered it on some colourful paper also from my stash. To complete this card I added a ribbon, sentiment and a little bling.

I hope you will join me this week and create a card and enter it here.

              Altered Clock Project

This is my altered clock that I made for a friend for a monthly project exchange.

              Back and Side View

              Top

I purchased my clock I altered from our local thrift store.  I had to change my plan for my altered clock when I realized that I could not remove the glass from the frame. I coloured the frame with Alcohol Inks and then stamped with a stamp by Hero Arts called Italian Poetry background.  I removed the insides of the clock and covered the face of the clock with a clock face print that I copied on to pattern paper. Next I lined the edges of the inside of the frame with washi tape. I added a ornate gateway die cut by Heartfelt Creations, a flower and wooden butterfly and pearls to the clock face and put the clock back together.

On the front of the clock I added bling, pearls, another wooden butterfly, Decorative Blossom Corner die cut also by Heartfelt Creations.  The last thing I added to the front of the clock was a mix media stamped bird by Dina Wakely that I coloured with Copics.

To finish my altered project I added a metal button for the top of the card.  I then added chair protectors for feet, added a backing to the clock made out of coordinating pattern paper which I used a glittered washi tape to secure the paper.  I also used the glitter washi tape to decorate the feet.

Thank you for stopping by to take a look and have a creative day.

I am entering this altered project in the following challenges:
