I made this card with this beautiful bicycle digital stamp from LeAnn's World 101. The image is called Spring Ride.  I really like the spring theme.

Reverse Canvas Butterfly

I used a reverse canvas for my project this week at Crafty Cardmakers.  The theme this week is Things with Wings. 

To make my canvas I used several designer papers, sprays, Cardboard piece, distress ink, stamps by Tim Holtz, crackle paint and some metal decorative pieces.

Progressive Challenge #5 - LeAnn's World 101

I made an altered puzzle piece with this cute image from LeAnn's World 101 progressive challenge #5.  The image is called Airel and can be found in LeAnn's Esty shop. 

To alter my game piece I used acrylic paints, copics, a chipboard fence, and several die cuts including clouds, musical notes and flowers, sentiment step by Amus stamps.

No Pattern Paper Challenge

The theme of the challenge this week at Crafty Cardmakers is "no pattern paper".

To create my card I used several different Distresses ink that I blended on my background.  I nexted added a sewing stitches stamp to the background.  I then added a wooden bird cage and a combination of leaves and gold flowers.  To completed the card  I then added a tag and a sentiment stamp .

Progressive Challenge #4 at LeAnn's World 101

This is my card for the progressive challenge over at LeAnn's World 101.  The image I used for this card is called Kevin and can be found in LeAnn's Worlds Esty shop.

Kevin is such a cute image and there are so many possibilities for different setting you could put Kevin in.  I decided to create a beach scene using several different rubber stamps for the background.

Sew Much Fun

Time for another great mixed media challenge over at Creative Artiste.

Mixed Media Challenge - Altered Shoe

Altered Eclectics is having another challenge this month.  Our challenges are always anything goes but it most be mixed media or altered art. Come join in the fun. 

This is what I started with

I used several products on my altered shoe including black gesso, Kroma Crackle, several spray dies, acrylic sprays, glitter, buttons, gears, gems, a flower, letters, butterflies and keys. 

I had fun with my creation.

Mother's Day Challenge at Eclectic Ellapu

This mixed media card I made for the Mother's Day Challenge at Eclectic Ellapu. 

I used acrylic pain and a stencil for the background of the card The circle is leftover piece that I was using for another project from Scrapmatt Australia.  The leaves are from a die cut  and the Mother's Day stamp a old rubber stamp from my collection.  I embossed the stamp with purple embossing powder.  To complete the card I added some pearls on a string and a pretty mauve flower.

Altered Jar - Rhedd's Creative Spirit

 I am excited today to announce that I have been accepted on the design team of Rhedd's Creative Spirit.  Rhedd's is an altered art challenge blog, only altered art/mixed media projects.  No paper crafts accepted. I love the mixed media world. I love the hunt for material for my projects. You never know where you are going to find something to inspire you. 

This is my first project. 

This is the jar I started with.

Some of the products I used for my altered jar are Cascade Home Deco chalk paint, Studio Series Blue Metallic Marker, and Violet Inka Gold.  The findings that I added were metal belt pieces, ribbon, cord with a metal chain attached, metal dream tag, a plastic curtain rod finial, gems, and a silver coaster. All of my findings came from either a thrift store, my stash or a garage sale.
