100% Boy

I made this card as one of my inspirational cards for July using a digital image called Cody's Ride from LeAnn's World 101's Esty Shop

I just love this image and it is just perfect for a young man's card.  I coloured the card with Copics and pencil crayon, then added a frame by Amy Design called Vintage Vehicles. To complete the card I added a rubber stamp sentiment called 100% Boy from my stash.

Hope you enjoy my card and have a creative week.

Life is Good

This is my inspirational card for LeAnn's World Challenge Blog this week.  I used this cute digital image called Jeremy and can be found in LeAnn's Esty Shop.   This image could be used for many different cards but I decided to make a feel good card because of how Jeremy's eyes sparkled.

I simply coloured him with my Copic Markers and then layered the image using many different papers from a pack of paper called Earth Tones Scrap pack from my stash. To complete the card I die cut a tag and added a stamped "Life is Good" sentiment, added grass and a ribbon.

Thank you for stopping by and have a creative week. Remember to pop over to our challenge blog to be inspired by our talented design team and visit us on facebook for lots of fun.

Altered Heart Box

Time for another great challenge at Creative Artiste this month. I decided to alter a heart shape box for my project this challenge.  Our sponsor this month is Tando Creative. Tando Creative sells a great number of the products that I used to alter my box.

Image may contain: sky

This is the box that I started with.

I used stencils, molding paste, sprays, inks and acrylic paint on my box.  Once I was happy with the results I added some flowers, gems, doily, butterfly, lace and ribbon.

Here are some closer looks.

Dream Imagine Believe

This is my project for July over at Rhedd's Creative Spirit.  I decided to mage this wall hanging for my bedroom using this trailer heat vent cover that was being discarded.

This is what I started with.

I painted my found trailer vent with a cream metal paint, added some stencilling and some modelling paste.  My next step was to ink the edges and other parts of the vent with a brown stain.

One I had the frame prepped I sprayed my acrylic letters with a copper paint and added them to the frame.  Once I was satisfied with my lettering I added my flowers, gemstones, butterflies and other finding.

Red, White and Blue Challenge

It is the beginning of July and another new challenge at Eclectic Ellapu.  The theme this month is Red, White and Blue and I decided to make this birthday card with the theme.

To make my card I used a ship, anchor, and birthday sentiment dies along with an embossing folder and rubber stamped waves.

This was a simple birthday card but I feel that it a great card for a guy.

Thank you for stopping by and remember to visit us over at Eclectic Ellapu this month.

How I Wonder What You are!

It is the first of July and time for another great challenge at Altered Eclectics
The theme of the challenge is always altered/mixed media.  Paper Crafts are not accepted.

This canvas is my project for this month and I had fun making it. The background was done in acrylic and a clock stencil. The quirky little man is a digital  from The Octopode Factory called Steampunk Nipper Bernie.  I reversed his image. I coloured him with Ink Intense Pencils, added a sentiment, washers, upholstery tacks, brads, die cuts and stars.
