Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. Pick a Shape - A Place to Start Challenge



This is my card this month for  challenge over at A Place to Start.  The challenge is  to make a card using one of the shapes in the board below. 


As you can see for this challenge I used the circle in the design of my card along with  an easel card pattern.

I used Lavinia stamps for my card that I stamped on some paper which I coloured with different colours of alcohol ink.  

I used Lavinia Rubber Stamps in my design and made a paper bead to keep in place the front of the card which I added white flowers and a butterfly.
