It is card sketch time at one of my
favourite Yahoo Groups Enjoy Michael Strong Stamps. I wanted to do a technique with this sketch
and I decided on the serigraph technique that I found on Split Coast Stampers
web site.
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/serigraph/
I used Mike’s mosaic frame stamp and used three colours of distressed inks to colour the rectangle that I cut from the frame to make the sketch pattern and the vertical stripes. I added the pattern to an embossed background that I inked the edges with one of the distressed inks.
The pattern made a very pretty simple card I think. The frame stamp from Mike’s collection I think is one of the most versatile stamps.

ReplyDeleteI like the colours you used and they are very effective against the white. A very pretty card!
