I decided to make an altered bottle for this month's Creative Artiste's challenge using a maple syrup bottle I found in my recycling bucket.
This month our sponsor is Foil Paper.
It was fun making the altered bottle. I painted my bottle first with Gesso and then with acrylic paint. I then added some diamond stencils with modeling paste. Once the paint had dried I added a fabric applique, cheese cloth and some flowers . I then added some Gesso to the flowers to give them some texture. The butterfly is a digital from Morgan Fitzsimons that I printed out on paper and coloured then printed it on mylar and layered them on my bottle.
To complete the project I made a topper for the bottle and added some pearls.
Thank you for stopping by and have a creative day. Pop over to the Creative Artiste Challenge blog to see the projects the design team have created to inspire you. Hope you will join us this month.
This is so pretty. I love all of the embellishments.
