Time for another great challenge over at Creative Artiste this month. We only have a few rules to play. Your project must be Mixed Media and can be an ATC, tag, card, layout, altered art or an off-the-page project as long as you follow the challenge specifications. You must use more then 3 different mediums on your project to qualify for our mixed media rules.
This is my project for this month, an altered dress form.
This is the dress form I started with that I found at a thrift store.
To start my project I tea dyed an assortment of ribbons and lace from my stash and the medical bandage wrap I used for the top of the dress.
The other products I used were acrylic paints, letters, Dimensional Pearls, glues, buttons, tea bags and assortment of finding.
More views of the dress.
Front
I added a wooden tag which I added my theme and a metal tag of the Eifel Tower.
The purse was made from a tea bag.
Top Back
The shoes
The shoes were part of the hooks from a shower curtain that I also found at the thrift store.
Thank you for stopping by and have a creative week. Remember to pop over to our challenge blog to be inspired by our very creative design team. Hope you will join us this month.
I am enteering this project in the following challenges
