My project this month is an Altered Mixed Media Canvas.

Here is my project.

Here are some of the products I used to create my canvas.

Step 1

I painted my canvas with gesso, then used a stencil of clogs and wheels to create the background.   Once I was satisfied with they background I added my background colors using Paynes Grey and white acrylic paint, distressed inks and script rubber stamp.

Step 2

My next step was to  collage an assortment of old medical prescription forms that I found in a antique store years ago in Arizona several years ago along with other antique papers in my collection.. The photo that I used in my project is from Tim Holtz's Found Relatives Collection. I added Distress Inks and an ink spray to give an antique look to my photo and papers.

Step 3

To complete the project I added an interesting collection of clogs and gears, tag and other finds.

I hope you enjoy my project and are inspired to join in this current month,  Anything Goes Challenge.

I am entering my project int following challenges:

Altered Eclectics - Anything Goes
613 Avenue Create - Anything Goes
Love to Create - Mixed Media Anything Goes
All Sorts - Make it Masculine
A Vintage Journey - Put Your Stamp on it

Winter Birds

2019 is here and this is our first challenge over at Crafty Cardmakers  and our theme is Winter.

I made this winter card using a card die set called Pop Up Circle Accordion  by Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs.  Thought the die set went well with my winter birds and Let it Snow sentiment die.

For my winter birds I used 2 winter birds by Bugaboo.  I thought they suited the frame of the cards. I also used white glitter, Nuvo Crystal Drops, Gel Pen, and copics to colour the card.
