May your Dreams Take Flight

My turn to host the challenge at at Crafty Cardmakers this week and the theme of the challenge is go green. Your card or project must either be a St. Patrick's Day theme or the main colour must be green.

I chose to make a card using a rubber stamp by Stampers Anonymous' Tim Holtz  Collection called Tree Line.  When I think green my first thought is of the beautiful forest that surrounds my home.

I used a combination of watercolours and Stampin' Up  Mossy Meadow waterbased dye ink to colour the card.  To complete my card I added a stamped sentiment and a eagle flying.

Thank you for stopping by and have a creative day. Remember to visit our challenge blog to see the beautiful creations of our talented design team.

Watercolored Canvas

Add some texture is the theme of this week's Crafty Cardmakers Challenge. I decided to make a canvas picture using watercolours, rubber stamps, stencils, washi tape and molding paste.

I love adding texture using Panpastels to colour my molding paste.  I love it's soft effect. The flower rubber stamp is a cling mount by Stampendous called Jumbo Holly Hock.

Hope you will join us this week in the textured challenge.  Remember to pop over to our challenge blog to see the pretty creations of our talented design team.

Altered Box

Time for another great challenge at Creative Artiste.  The theme of the challenge is anything mixed media goes and I have altered a cellphone box for my project.

Our sponsor this challenge is Scrapmatts.  Scrapmatts has a great collection of media products.

I used this gear stencil for my box.  It is a perfect stencil for a small box , card or tag.

Closer look

I used molding paste on my stencil and coloured the box with several colours of Inka-Gold.  To complete my box I added several findings, a gear, clock and wings. I also used some gems and starred washi tape.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you will join us in this anything goes mixed media challenge.  Remember to pop over to our challenge blog to see the inspiring projects of our design team.
