It is a red, white and blue Christmas theme this week at Holly Jolly Christmas Challenges. I had this sentiment stamp by Lindy's Stamp Gang in my stash and decided to do a friendship quilt for my card. The stamp reads "the best gifts for Christmas ?? Love...Peace...Friends!"
I used some red, white and blue pattern Christmas card stock for the quilt and arranged them in a pattern, then I embossed the sentiment with navy blue embossing powder. I layered the sentiment on a red die cut and added a laced crochet blue ribbon to complete the card.

Hi Judy, thanks for your message re. the elf stamp. It's from a Personal Impressions stamp set by Lindsey Mason. Hope that helps xxx
ReplyDeleteI like the effect of the squares on this card, and I think it's such a nice example of a beautiful card with no image. The sentiment and pattern of your papers give this card a great Christmas feel.
