Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. Fitztown Challenge - Use metal on your card


Another great challenge this week at Fitztown Challenge Blog.  Create a card and use metal somewhere on your card.  I used this lovely image by Morgan Fitzsimons  for this card and coloured her with my Copic markers,

I distressed all my layers with Distress Ink, added a layer of pink lace and a sheer fabric with some sparkle.  This was a fun card to make.  To complete my card I added a silver chiffon ribbon, a metal lock and heart and a sentiment.
