I made this card for a card swap at Technique Junkie. The idea of the swap is to use one of the tutorials from one of their newsletters. I chose to use the Shadow Title tutorial for this card. I stamped a crackle stamp on my card stock then with my scoring tool I created a grid pattern. My next step was to create a shadow effect on the tiles with distress inks.
Once I had my background completed I added some burlap ribbon, added some pendants, sentiment and this lovely stamped image of these ladies dressed in I think clothes of the 50's. The stamp is part of a wonderful group of stamps that I got to choose from when I won a challenge at the Fashionable Stamping Challenge. The stamps are by a company from Australia called Flonz.
