Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. It's a Girl Thing



It's a Girl Thing is the theme of this weeks Come and Get It's challenge.  I am using one of our sponsors, Lemon Shortbread images for my art journal page.  The name of the image is  80's Fashion City Girl.


My idea for this art journal page was some papers I had made using CitraSolv and National Geographic pages.    I love the way the CitraSolv alters the images and makes these unusual pages.  I thought these pages I made were ideal for my art journal page. My image was coloured with Copics, pencil crayon and white gelly roll pen.
