Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. It's Your Birthday Go Wild



I am back with another card for a great challenge at Crafty Cardmakers.  The theme of the challenge is All creatures Great and Small. 

 I fell in love with this cute stamp set by Gerda Steiner.  I was inspired by a video by Sandy Alnock and made this card for a friend. I coloured my card with Copics, Posca Pens, Pencil Crayon, and Distressed Inks.  I added Diamond Glaze to give texture to the headlights and binoculars and clouds in the sky. I cut out all of my animals and had fun piling the animals in the jeep.

    What a fun, happy creation,I love how have used so many different colour mediums on it. Super card. Hope the smoke has not got the best of you, it has only started to clear here in the last week.
