Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. Art Journal Page


Time for another monthly challenge over at Creative Artiste.  The challenge is always anything mixed media goes and must contain 3 different mixed media projects. Your entry in this challenge can be anything mixed media ATC, Cards, Tags, Layouts, altered art or off-the-page project. To find all the rules for blog see our blog.

For this month I have created a art journal page using a couple of stencils, acrylic paint, pens, rubber stamps, inks and papers. 


After I primes my pages for the project I added some interesting designer paper to the pages then started to stencil my design adding colour and pattern. I also added some old seem binding tape for some more interest.

    Lovely journal layouts Judy. They look so simple but there are a lot of elements to look at. Nice choice of the blues with black tones. Great sentiments.
