Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. My favourite quote is by Maya Angelou. “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” I hope you join me in my search for my creative side. Thanks for stopping by!

A Place to Start - Anything Goes with Optional Twist Balloons and Flowers

A Place to Start has a wonderful challenge this month, along as usually the challenge of anything goes the optional twist is  balloons and flowers.  Lots of possibilities.

Conie Fong Art and Design is our generous sponsor.

This is one of my project I made using one of her images .  I love her selections of digital  images, so many to chose from that I actually made two cards with different images.

The image I used for this card is called Dragon Bouquet Bundle

This set from Conie Fong along with the images contains many sentiments.

This card I used using an image called Garden and Bootfil Bouquet

To make both of my  cards I coloured the images and balloon  with Copics Markers, gold leaf pen,  pencil crayons, Nuvo, geli pens and a Wink of Stella. I used an old  rubber stamp sentiment from my stash by  Rubber Stampede (1992) for the sentiment.

Thank you for stopping by and have a creative week.    Remember to stop by our challenge blog to see the inspiring projects of your design team. Conie Fong is also offering a discount on her digital images, check out the details on our challenge blog.

  1. Both projects are adorable. I love the texture on the background of the second card. And you've made a perfect job with the colouring in all the stamps. Hugs, María.
