Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. Happy Birthday - Fancy Cake




This cute digi is by Pink Cat Studios and is called “Fancy Cake Cat”. I thought it was a great image for the Party Time Tuesday’s birthday card challenge this week. I like the card pattern the way it opens up because there is lots of real estate to decorate. The other products I used to create this card are:

It’s your birthday - All Night Media
Happy Happy Birthday - unknown
Candles – PSX
Small Flowers – Rustic Pickle
Butterfly – Doodle Designs – Hampton Art Stamps

I cut the paper to create this folded card, layered my die cuts, coloured the images with my Copics then added ribbon and some bling to complete the card.
