Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. Dashing Through the Snow


Cindy at Holly Jolly Christmas Challenges had a great theme for this week's challenge, Dashing Through the Snow.  I had this great image from Paper Shelter of a bear ridden by a Christmas Elf pulling the sleigh full of gifts, just prefect for this challenge.


I coloured my image with my Copic Markers and added some snow with Flower Soft.  I like the way the Flower soft adds texture and interest to the card.  To complete the card I added some red ball ribbon and some fabric snow flakes.
