Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. Card with Mix Media Background


I made this simple card for a upcoming card swap I joined that required that we use a paper clip on the card.  I used some of the background paper that I created with my gelli plate in greens, yellow and blue.  The Tim Holtz stamp was also stamped papers that I had made playing with some mix media products. 

I coloured my ribbon some inks so that it marched the card and found some buttons in my stash to complete the card.
