Guest Designer at Retro Rubber

I am so happy to be a guest designer at Retro Rubber Challenge blog this week.   I made this card for their "winter scene"  challenge this week.

The idea of this challenge blog is that they require you to use at least one rubber stamp that you have in your stash that is over a year old.  I have used several stamps by a friend, Lisa Yang of Local Rubber King.  The card was made with using three snowman stamps along with a sentiment by A Muse Artstamps.

The piano player can be found on the Local Rubber King blog but I think the cello player and drummer are no longer available. I extended the hill line and added a couple of snowflakes to tie the 3 stamps together.  I coloured the image with Copics and added Deep Impression embossing enamel for the snow.

Thank you Retro Rubber for inviting me this week.

Thank you for stopping by and have a creative day.

  1. Oh, Judy! Your card is fantastic! I had an instant flashback of the old Calvin & Hobbes comics for some reason. These snowmen are super cool jazz players have a great jam session! I am most intrigued with the snow you made and will have to check out that embossing enamel. Thank you for joining the design team and hope you will play with us again very soon!

And, as Debbie indicated already, I am interested in obtaining more information on the "deep impression embossing enamel". Thanks so much for being our guest designer on this Retro Rubber challenge. Your card is an inspiration that I hope will entice others to play along with us!
