Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. Inspired by a Movie/Book/Song



Inspired by a Movie/Book/Song is the theme for the challenge at SLS Lines this week.  Whimsical Pirate is the image that I used for my art journal page.  The movie it is bases on of course is Hook.

To make my background for my art journal page I used a combination acrylic paint, charcoal pencil, chip board letters, distress Inks, circle stencil, die cut nautical symbols and rubber stamps. The Whimsical Pirate was coloured with Copics. 

This was a fun challenge at SLS Lines this month and a great start as part of this talented design team. I hope you will join our challenge this month and remember to pop over to their challenge blog to see the projects of that the rest of the design team created to inspire you.
