Time for another great challenge over at Creative Artiste.
Our theme is as always
Welcome back to our first Challenge Blog at Creative Artiste for 2025. Hope everyone had a very Happy Holiday Season. I am really looking for to crafting with all of you this year.
Please make sure you use multiple mediums on your projects. Please respect that we do not currently accept Instagram or Facebook entries.
The term “mixed media art” is a broad definition that covers many forms of arts and crafts, including collage, assemblage, altered objects, handmade greeting cards, artist trading cards (ATCs) tags and art journaling as long as you use different mediums.
The “mixed media” used includes paint, paper, pastes, sprays, powders, textural elements, clay, resins, fabrics, found objects, photos, metal, inks, pencils, markers and pastels to name just a few.
This is my project for February. I have created a mixed media wall hanging using pieces I have accumulated in my stash over the years.
Product I used for this wall hanging are:
a door knob plate
parts of a large belt made some different shaped metal decorations
another belt that was made of many with different metal circles
Crackling paste
metal corners
several different ink and waxes
Dollar store gems
Thank you for stopping by and have a creative week. Hope you will join us this month, we would love to see your mixed media projects. Remember to pop over to our challenge blog to be inspired by our talented design team.
This is amazing, so creative and will get me looking at every day items in a different way - its wonderful. Emma
ReplyDeleteYou always have the most amazing MM bits stashed away and when you bring them out create amazing pieces for all to be amazed by. This is another wonderful creation Judy. Looking forward to seeing what you surprise us with this year.
ReplyDeleteYour found and salvaged treasures always amaze me Judy always of the highest quality and fascinating to see how you transform them. A superb creation, reminds me of something Seth Apter would have designed extremely eclectic and so pleasing to the eye.
ReplyDeleteHappy crafting Hugs Tracey xx
