A Place to Start - July 2023 - Anything Goes/Optional Twist - Lifes a Beach

Time for another great challenge over at A Place to Start.  The theme of the challenge is Anything Goes and the Optional twist is Life a Beach.

I used a rubber stamp by Whimsy called Serenity for my card. I coloured my card with my copics and pencil crayons. I also added some sand pipers to my scene using a sandpiper stamp from my stash. Thank you for stopping by and have a creative month.  Hope you will join our challenge.  Remember to pop over to our challenge blog to be inspired by our talented design team.

Going to the Beach

I am back with my card for this week's challenge at Crafty Cardmakers, the theme of the challenge is holidays/vacation. Going to the beach is one of my favourite things to do on vacation and I decides to make a beach scene card.

My card was created using  a rubber stamp from Whimsy Stamps called Beach Scene and a beach frame  cutting die by Amy Design. My beach scene was coloured with copics and pencil crayons and I added a couple of finding to complete the card.

Thank you for stopping by and have a creative week. Remember to pop over to our challenge blog to view the beautiful projects of our design team.

Indian Princess

Thank you for stopping by.  I made this card for a newest purchase card swap at Inky Fun Stampers this week. I love this Whimsy stamp, I think she is so sweet. The stamp is called Wyanet (Beautiful).

The feather die is by Spellbinder and the butterflies are a Martha Stewart punch.  The large feather stamp I used for the background is a old stamp I have had in my stash by Rubber Stampede.

Thanks for looking.

Sun Kissed - Spring is in the Air

I found this interesting card challenge site called “Fashionable Stamping Challenges”.  One of the main rules is that you must use at least one rubber stamp on the card and no digi stamps. Now I have a place to use the hundreds of rubber stamps in my collection and a reason to buy more.   The theme this challenge number 18 is “spring is in the air’.  You can check this challenge blog out at:
I chose to use this rubber stamp by Elizabeth Bell for Whimsy Stamps called Sun Kissed.  I used several different pattern papers, ribbon, border punch and handmade flowers to create the card and give the card some texture and interest.  To complete the card I used some brads, bling, a butterfly and a sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by and have a creative day.
