Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. Vellum Card Challenge

This is my inspirational card for the vellum challenge at Fitztown this week.  It has been awhile since I have used vellum on a card. I love how velum give a card such a soft look.

I used this pretty image called Mystical Fae 2 from Morgan Fitzsimon's collection at Fitztown, you can find the image here

I die cut the vellum background with my new stitch die and made the velum flower with a couple of flower punches that I added rubbed some Inka Gold on give some interest.

You have still lots of time to join in this challenge. Just create your card and enter it here. Thank you for stopping to take a look.
