Steampunk Man

Time for another great challenge over at Creative Artiste this month.  Our theme is always

"Anything Mixed Media Goes"

Please make sure you use multiple mediums on your  projects.

For this months project I decided to make this Steampunk Man.  I was inspired by a project made in a class I took from my friend Mindy from Pip Art

My Steampunk man is a rubber stamp by Sheena. The Frame of the picture is 2 square frames, one used in reverse.  I  added a steampunk hat to my man that I drew.  The background paper on the bottom frame is from Stamperia, I also used cord to give the frame more texture.

Other views of the project

Other products I used for the project are:

Tim Holtz 3-D Texture Fades Embossing Folder

Rice Paper by Stamperia

Pentart Patina Effects

Pentart Rust Effect

Golden Molding Paste

Gear dies,

Feathers

Metal Findings

Hot Air Balloon and other textures by 7 Gypsies

Copic Markers (for colouring the steampunk man)

Santa's List - Anything Goes at Through the Craft Room Door

Time for another great Through the Craft Room Door Challenge Blog this week.  Our wonderful sponsor this week is

Jan's Digi Stamps

The prize this week is $10 Voucher for their store.

I used a beautiful digi stamp by Jan called Santa's List which I decided to alter a clock with.  I used old music papers and old antique ornaments to decorate the clock and Christmas scene.  Santa was coloured with Copics and distress inks.

Thank you for stopping by and have a creative week. This is our last challenge of 2020, see you in 2021. Remember to pop over to our challenge blog to be inspired by our talented design team.
