Happy Birthday Challenge

It is a birthday challenge at Crafty Card Makers this week.  I made this little boys card for one of my nieces twin boys' birthday who was turning 4.

This is the card I made for the other twin.

The images are from Sandra Caldwell digital stamps and although they are different I thought they were similar enough for twin's birthday. .

I coloured the images  and sentiment with Copics and added a dotted background, a sentiment,  some layers and a button the complete the cards.

Thank you for stopping by and have a creative day.  Pop over to our challenge board to see the inspiring creations of our design team.

Welcome Autumn

Come and Get Challenges this week has a welcome autumn challenge. Eureka Stamps is  our sponsor and this cute scarecrow I used for my card is called Scarecrow and Sunflowers . You can find other beautiful images  from Eureka Stamps in their shop.

I coloured my image with Copics and added a sentiment and some wooden leaves that I coloured with Distressed inks.  Thank you for stopping by. Have a creative week.

Autumnal Challenge

Eclectic Ellapu has a Autumnal challenge for the purple team this month and this autumn scene was made for that challenge.  This simply autumn card was made with a rubber stamp I had in my collection. I have forgotten who made the stamp since I probably have had it for about 10 years and it is unmounted.   I have used just parts of the stamps for other cards and projects.

I have used a combination of Copics and PanPastels to colour the card,  The background layer is a gelli print.  The wooden leaves are coloured with Distressed inks.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you will join us in this autumnal challenge this month. Remember that the pink team also has a challenge and their theme is vintage.

Altered Bicycle Sprocket

Time for another challenge at Altered Eclectics this month and I decided to alter a bicycle
sprocket.   I found the sprocket at a thrift store and thought it would be fun to alter in
a steam- punk theme.

My steam punk lady is an image from Kenny K Downloads.  I coloured
the image with Copics, added a die cut Tim Holtz clock, chip board clock, metal stars and dragonfly and die cut gears and clogs.

Here is a closer view.

Hope you will join us this week for this challenge.  Remember to pop over to the Altered
