May Challenge at 613 Avenue Create - Anything Goes W/ Optional Twist: Mother May I?

Time for another great anything goes challenge at 613 Avenue Create. The optional theme twist is "Mother May I.

This is my card I created for this challenge.

To create the card I used the following products:

The last few months I have been consciously shopping from my stash.  I really get mad at myself for sometimes spending to much money in the stores or online or go to use a product that that I have purchased and it is all dried up.

ANYTHING GOES w/Optional Twist: KEY IT SIMPLE

Time for another great challenge over at a Place to Start this week. As always the challenge is anything goes and this weeks optional twist  is Key it Simple. Just use a key and lock or just a key in your project.

I decided to make a farewell card for a friend that is moving away and starting a new adventure in their lives.

I drew my house shape and played with my dimensions.  Then I layered the house shape first with the green craft paper then drew another layer to add to the front of the house.

I used a piece of my Mixed Media scrap of paper from my stash  for the front of the house then added the door and windows.  The sentiment is computer generated..  I inked the edges with distress inks, added my key, some doodling and stamped the chimney with a brick pattern stamp.

ThanK you for stopping by and have a creative week. Remember to pop over to our challenge blog to be inspired by our talented design tea.

Creative Artiste - April Mixed Media Challenge - Our Rainbow Man

Time for another great challenge over at Creative Artiste

Our theme is always

"Anything Mixed Media Goes"

Please make sure you use multiple mediums on your projects. Please respect that we do not currently accept Instagram entries.

The term “mixed media art” is a broad definition that covers many forms of arts and crafts, including collage, assemblage, altered objects, handmade greeting cards, artist trading cards (ATCs) tags and art journaling  as long as you use different mediums.

The “mixed media” used includes paint, paper, pastes, sprays, powders, textural elements, clay, resins, fabrics, found objects, photos, metal, inks, pencils, markers and pastels to name just a few.

This is my project for this month.

My daughter-in-law sent me this picture of my youngest grandson, Cooper taken in Mexico. I loved the smile on his face and the light in this eyes.

Cooper just loves colour and is a bit of a showman as you can see.

Ink sprays
Gesso
Stencil by The Crafter's Worker Shop TCW321
Ink Intense Pencils
Acrylic Paint
Rubber Stamps from my stash
