Anything Goes/Mood Board Challenge at 613 Avenue Create

Time for another great challenge over at 613 Avenue Create.  The theme as always is Anything Goes and the Optional Twist is a mood Board. 

This is the mood board  for this challenge is

For my card I decided to use the feather from the mood board to inspire that card I made for this challenge.

 I used a set of die cuts for the feathers and a thanks die that I cut out of some foil papers for the card.  I used an embossing an embossing folder of a tree branch for the background. The metal piece is part of a button that I created for an embellishment for the card.

I have used an digital image called TSF Fairy for my canvas I have made for one of my young family members.

I coloured the little fairy with copics, pencil crayon, white gel pen,  and Pentarts glitter pen on the wings.

I created a scene on my canvas using acrylic paint, die cut flowers, fence, butterflies, different colours of Nuvo and clouds

This is my card I made for this challenge using our sponsor Fred She Said image called Bunneh

I love this cute image of the Easter Bunny.  To create my card I layered several paper from my stash that I embossed, I coloured the image with my Copics, Wink of Stella, Nuvo Crystal Drops and a white Gel Pen.

I have used Createful Heart's digital image called Friendship Bear.

I decided this image would work well for a gate fold card.  

I coloured the image with Copics and Panpastels (sky) then I added sparkle to my sun and  die cut clouds in the sky.  s 

I added a sentiment to the front of the card.

I then added a die cut flower to the inside of the card.

Make it Elegant Challenge

Time for another challenge over at A Place to Start and the theme of this challenge is to make it Elegant. The challenge is anything goes - it does not have to be a card.  

I decided to make two projects for the challenge, a card and an altered box in the elegant theme.

I used this lovely image from Graphics Fairy for my card.  I love this flapper style image.  The dresses in that era are stunning.  

The ladies were coloured with copics, pencil crayon, Nuvo, stenciled background with Panpastels, Wink of Stella and a glitter pen.

For my second project I decided to alter a tin heart box I had in my stash.

This is the box I altered. I purchased several of the boxes at a thrift store several years ago.

I am going to use this box I altered for the container I need for a friend's birthday gift.

This is my altered box.

I have used gems from a dollar store along with a Stamperia mold, die inks and a fabric butterfly from a fabric store.  Once I got my box decorated the wave I wanted I added Pentart gold wax to give the box more elegance and shine.

Anything Goes Challenge with Optinal twist - In the Garden

 Time for another great challenge over at 613 Avenue Create. The theme this month is as always, Anything Goes.  Our optional twist this month is In the Garden - Create a Card for Spring.

This is my card I made for this challenge.

I  decided to make a card this month that uses the elements of spring I like the most; flowers, butterflies and bunnies.

I used a combination of flowers purchased and handmade along with Tim Holts Bunny, and a few butterflies dies.  The embossed sentiment is a old rubber stamp from my stash. I also used Nuvo Crystal drops, white gel pen, Dimensional pearls, white acrylic paint, gems and scrapbook papers from my stash.

I have altered a box for my project this month. 

This is the box I started with, a wooden box I found at a thrift store on holidays.

I used gesso, a stencil with molding paste, dollar store gems, an assortment of findings and jewelry pieces on the lid of my box.  I coloured the box with alcohol inks and acrylic paints.
