Let it Snow - Skiing Snowman

Time for another challenge at Crafty Cardmakers and the theme of the challenge is Christmas.

I made this card for one of my grandson's for Christmas.  I thought he would love this crazy snowman. I coloured him with copics and pencil crayons then added snow, snowflakes, a sentiment, Nuvo crystal drops, and Wink of Stella.

This card was fun to make and I hope he will enjoy it.

Altered Christmas Clock

It is time for another great challenge at Rhedd's Creative Spirit this month. Rhedd's Creative Spirit is a Altered Art/Mixed Media Challenge blog. Paper crafts art is not excepted.

For my project this month I decided to alter a clock with a Christmas scene.

This is what I started with

I used digital images from Polkadoodles for my project.  I just love their selection of images. The images I used were from the Big Kahuna Winnie Angel and Winnie White Christmas collection.

I sanded my clock and painted it with gesso after I unassembled the clock portion. I then I added a powdered snow product, my digital images that I coloured with Copics, paint and pencil crayon.

Once I arranged my images I then added a sentiment, bells, snowflakes and Christmas trees.

Anything Festive Challenge

This is the last challenge of the year at Eclectic Ellapu for 2018. The theme is anything Festive.  Instead of a card I chose to make a altered tin pocket  hanger.

I used digital images for the Santa and the clock are by Arty Pants which I coloured with Distress Inks. I also used glitter paint, origami snowflakes, ribbon,  and sentiment dies. I purchased the tin pocket hangers at a garage sale several years ago on holidays.

Mixed Media Christmas Ornaments

Time for another great challenge at Altered Eclectics this month.  Altered Eclectics is a mixed media, altered art, upcycling, and recycling blog.  We do not accept paper crafts.  The theme is anything goes.

Since Christmas season is coming up to us quickly I decided to make altered Christmas ornaments.  The plastic balls were found either at a garage sale or in the dollar store.  The products that I used to decorate the balls were gesso, many different inks, crackle paint, gems, beads, and Prima Art stones.

Closer look.
