Circle Punch Challenge

This is my inspiration card for this week's challenge at Get Inky!  The challenge's theme is Circle Punches.  Perfect challenge to use some of the great stamps from
Get Inky.

I had fun making this card. I found a pattern on Pinterest called a Step Out card.  You can find the tutorial for this card here

Side View

To create my card I used Get Inky's stamp set called Circle of Love.  This is a great set  and I used about 10 stamps from the set to make the card. To create the background I stamped different stitched circles from the set in red ink over the white card stock until I had a pattern I was pleased with.  I then layered the large circle sentiment stamp with layers of papers I cut with a circle paper punch and  added a large button and some flowers.

There is still  time to enter the circle punch challenge.  Just create your card and enter it here.

I used one of Fitztown's beautiful images called Fae 37 for my card. I love how Morgan Fitzsimon draws these beautiful ladies. When I thing of spring I think of the colour green.  I love the smell of green grass and new leaves.

My image was coloured with Copic Markers and glitter and I then added a few punched flowers, doily, butterfly and some bling.

Poppies

I made this card for a card swap at technique Junkies this week using a technique I found in the last addition of their newsletter.  The technique I used was to colour the image using Dylusions Ink Spray as water colours.

I stamped by poppies with Stazon Ink onto water colour paper then I sprayed a very small amount of various colours of Dylusion Ink Sprays and a mist of water on a piece of plastic or craft sheet . My next step was to use a small paint brush to colour the poppies. I like the intense colour of the inks.

Thank you for stopping by and have a creative day.

Have a Beautiful Christmas

I love this Christmas scene stamp by Just Inklined that I choose for this Christmas Scene Challenge at Holly Jolly Christmas Challenges this week.  The digital image is called Little Church in the Snow, a fitting name for this digital stamp.

I added some colour with Copic Markers and then added glitter for the snow.  The sentiment by A Muse ArtStamps was embossed with silver embossing powder and a little bit of bling was added to complete the card.

Colour Challenge at Fitztown

This is my spring coloured card that I created for the challenge this week at Fitztown.   I love the colours of spring colors.  I used the beautiful image by Fitztown which I coloured with Copic Markers.

I made my flowers from some die cuts and wet the flowers with water and crinkled with them to give them some shape and texture.  Some face die cuts were added to the frame, bling along with a sentiment.   The background was made with some bling fabric from from the dollar store.
