About Me

Okanagan, BC, Canada
Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. My favourite quote is by Maya Angelou. “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” I hope you join me in my search for my creative side. Thanks for stopping by!

It was the Night before Christmas

Hello crafters. Cute Card Thursday’s challenge #194 this week is Anything Goes. The image on this card is from Paper Shelter. The little girl looks so sweet sleeping under the Christmas tree. I coloured the image with my Copics, added glitter, Diamond Glaze to give the glass of milk texture and depth and bling. I layered the image over several decorative paper, vellum flourishes and doilies.

Well back to the craft room to clean up my mess.

Happy crafting!

  1. Great job with his image Judy! I have to use this same image for one of my next DT samples! You've given me some ideas to use!

  2. Beautiful card!
Many thanks for joining in the Cute Card Thursday Challenge this week!
