A Place to Start Challenge July - Anything Goes

Time for another new challenge at A Place to Start. The theme this month is anything goes. I would like to see what you are working on this month.

This month I decided to make a simple card using some of my gelli plate papers and adding a a stamped octopus. Unfortunately I do not remember the name of the company creating the stamp. That is the unfortunate part of   stamps no longer on blocks. The good thing is the we have more room in our craft room for more product.

I added some clear Nuvo to parts of the octopus to give texture and dimension.  I also added a sentiment that consisted parts of different sentiment from my stash.

Hope you will join us this month. Remember to stop by our challenge blog to be inspired by our talented design team. Have fun creating this month.

This is the card I made for this challenge a fancy fold using: Flutterby Fairy
from the collection of LeAnn's World 101 digital stamps.

The fancy fold I used for this card is called stand up card. I have seen several versions of the card and adapted the card from Cards and Co.  I thought it was a cute design. I love LeAnn's world image and have made this card for one of my nieces children's birthday.  The fairy is adorable.

I am not sure who created  designer paper , I had 2 pieces of it in my stash.  I thought it was very pretty.

Another view of the card.

I choose to create an art journal page for this challenge using our sponsor's image.

For the background of my art journal page I created it using my gel plate  and a stencil. I love the image of the the lady - part butterfly.

The image I found on the internet and the author is unknown. I think it is a beautiful saying.

The extra butterflies on the page are rubber stamps from my collection of stamps.
