Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. Christmas in July

Come and Get It Challenges is having a Christmas in July challenge this week and this is my card for the challenge. The sponsor of the challenge is Bugaboo and I have used an image called Duo Penguin for my easel card.

I used a Stampin Up die and a Spellbinder die for the Easel.  I thought using the combination of dies gave the card an interesting effect. I coloured the image with Copic Markers and added a scrapbook sentiment and a button to complete the Christmas in July card.

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day.

I am entering this card in the following challenges:
Send a Smile for Kids - Christmas in July
Hiding in my Craft Room - Christmas in July
Crafty Hazelnut's Challenge - layer it up
My Sheri Crafts Challenge - Christmas in July
AUD Sentiment Challenge - Christmas in July
Divas by Design Challenge - Christmas in July
Christmas Stamping All Year Long - Christmas
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge - Christmas in July
