Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. A Place to Start - JANUARY, 2025 Challenge - ANYTHING GOES w/OPTIONAL TWIST: INCLUDE A BALLOON


Time for another great challenge at A Place to Start and the first challenge of 2025.

The challenge this month is as always anything goes, and the optional twist is to include a balloon in your project.

613 Avenue Create - January 2025 Challenge - Anything Goes /Optional Twist Monotone Magic

 Challenge Twist:  Monotone Magic (create something using shades of one color)

Welcome back to 613 Avenue Create Challenge Blog.

This is the first challenge of 2025, hope you will join us this month.

Our challenge as always is anything goes and the optional twist is Monotone Magic. (create a card using shapes of one colour).

This is my card I created for this January challenge.

My neutral colour I used for this card is a cream colour and the monotone colour is shades of black. 


The die cut bird I used was a die cut from Sizzix and the designer pattern paper is from The Black Currant Stack by DCWV.
