I made this Double Pocket Card for an upcoming swap that I have joined.   From my stash I used a very colourful paper for the out side of my card.  I found this video for this card on Pinterest, you can find the directions for the card here. I had fun decorating the card with several die cuts, punches and rubber stamps from my stash along with lots of bling.  Hope my card swap partner enjoys the card.

Thank you for stopping to take a look.  Hope you have a creative day.

Card with Mix Media Background

I made this simple card for a upcoming card swap I joined that required that we use a paper clip on the card.  I used some of the background paper that I created with my gelli plate in greens, yellow and blue.  The Tim Holtz stamp was also stamped papers that I had made playing with some mix media products.

I coloured my ribbon some inks so that it marched the card and found some buttons in my stash to complete the card.

Thanks for stopping by.

Colour: Certainly Celery, Baja Breeze and So Saffron.

This week at  Come and Get It Challenges it is a colour challenge and the colours are Certainly Celery, Baja Breeze and So Saffron.   Don't the colours sound so interesting.

We have a sponsor this week, Fred, She Said Designs and they are offering a great prize for one luck winner.

For my card I used an image from Fred, She Said Designs called,  Emma and the Cake.  I embossed and layered papers in the challenge's colours and then added a sentiment. I think she makes such a great image for a little girl's birthday card.

Come and join in this week's challenge.  Just create your card and enter it here.  Thank you  for stopping by and have a very creative day.

Happy Birthday Little Girl

I made this card for an upcoming little girl's birthday.  I just love this cute little Japanese little girl from Fred, She Said designs.  She has such a lovely face.  Her name is  Emma, Smelling the Cherry Blossoms.

I paper pieced her dress and added lots of layers of paper to create my card. I think this mage is just perfect for a litle girl's birthday and I hope she enjoys the card.  Thanks for looking.

Have a Fantastic Day

I made this card for a friend this week using several different techniques. My Fred, She Said Design image of the old truck was printed on dictionary paper and coloured with Copic Markers, then I added Diamond Glaze to the head lights and windows to represent glass.

The background paper was layered with nylon mess drywall tape from my husbands shop. The tabs are a Stampin Up punch and the sentiment stamp is by  A Muse Artstamps.

Hope you enjoy by card and I hope you have a fantastic day.

Christmas Elf

This week at Holly Jolly Christmas Challenges Meighan chose the challenge, make something with something new from your stash of crafting goodies.   It could be a ribbon, image, embellishment etc.

I had purchased a while ago this digital image from McMahon Five digital images and thought it would be fun to create a Christmas card with it.  I coloured the image with my Copic markers, added  the this Christmas tag from a scrapbook left over , ribbon, diamond glaze to give the ornament some dimension and a pom pom to the end of his Christmas toque.

Thank you for stopping by to take a look.  Drop by the Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge site and see the great creations of the rest of the design team have made to inspire you.
