Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. My favourite quote is by Maya Angelou. “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” I hope you join me in my search for my creative side. Thanks for stopping by!

Stenciled Tag Challenge

I created this tag for a upcoming swap at a Yahoo Group I belong with.  The swap challenge is to use a stencil in your design.  The stencil I chose to use was the Clock stencil by Tim Holtz.  I layered the stencil over a tag that was coloured with several different distressed inks.   To highlight the design I outlined the image with a white gell pen.

I added several time and railway stamped images that were stamped on a gelli print paper. To complete the tag I added a fabric ribbon. Thank you for stopping by.

I am entering this tag in the following challenge:

Sister Act Card Challenge - Anything Goes
4 Krafty Girlz Anything Goes
Crafty Ribbons -Anything Goes with Ribbon
Crafter's Cafe - Anything goes
Penny's Paper-Crafty - Anything goes
Wonderful Wednesdays - Always Anything Goes
