Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. My favourite quote is by Maya Angelou. “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” I hope you join me in my search for my creative side. Thanks for stopping by!

Add Stitching, Real or Faux

The challenge at Come and Get It this week to create a card or project and add stitching, real or faux.  I have used a image from one of our sponsors Scrappers Delight for my card. The image is called Pixie Pan.  The sentiment is also part of the set.

I coloured my card's image with Copics, stitched the cards layered papers and then added some music and a sentiment.

Thank you for stopping by.  Have a creative day.

  1. Loving the fun music theme and the sewing is a great touch.

  2. I love that the stiching is so visible on your card. It's really beautiful :)

  3. Super cute Judy. What a perfect sentiment for that image.

  4. This all goes together so beautifully, and I like how you have layered on one side. CarolG DTeamie

  5. Awesome card Judy. Love your coloring. Great idea putting music sheet paper behind the image.
