About Me

Okanagan, BC, Canada
Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. My favourite quote is by Maya Angelou. “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” I hope you join me in my search for my creative side. Thanks for stopping by!

Things with Wings Challenge

Things with Wings is the challenge at Come and Get It Challenges this month and I have used this great image from one of our sponsors, SLS Lines. The image is called Owl with Hat and Tie.

I used some cardboard from my stash for the tag and torn part of the surface, layered some textured craft paper and then rubber on a couple of colours of Inka Gold.  The image was coloured with Copics.

Things with Wings is one of my favourite challenges.  I hope you will join us this week and Come and Get It Challenges.

I am entering this tag in the following challenges:

Scrappers Delights  Always Anything Goes
A Beautiful Mess -  Anything Goes
Craft for the Craic -  Anything But a Card
Crafting-With-Friends - Anything Goes
PDE Linky Party - Anything Goes
Simply Papercraft - Anything Goes
