Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. Mixed Media Challenge at Creative Artiste



I am back with my project for this month's anything goes mixed media challenge at Creative Artiste.  Our sponsor this moth is Scrapmatts.  

Scrapmatts is a wonderful paper craft company located in Australia and has a great selection of chipboard, stencils, paper tole products and other scrapbook and card making supplies.   

On this mixed media canvas I used many products including chipboard, stencils, wall paper, fabrics, lace, scissors, cheese cloth and gems. I hope you will join us this month.  Pop over to our challenge blog to view the beautiful creations of our talented design team. 

Creative Artiste has a DESIGN TEAM CALL ending 14th September – to start 1st Friday in October.
Hi everyone we have a design team call and are looking for 3 DT members who love working with different materials and mediums etc. No previous DT experience is necessary.
To Apply
You need to have an Active Blog and Facebook account to apply.
You need to be able to commit to deadlines once a month and making a project that is Mixed Media either from your stash or supplies from our sponsors.
So coloured images alone on a cards wont pass as Mixed Media.
Promote our Sponsors once the challenge has gone live.  This has to be done by using Facebook, Blogs etc.
Promote our Challenges using Blogs, Facebook etc... plus display our blog Challenge Badge on your blog.
Each month you will be given a number to comment on challenge entries, it's lovely for people participating to get a comment and we all enjoy receiving comments.
If at any time you think you can't comment, don't worry as sometimes life can get a bit hectic. 
It doesn’t matter if you are a  new or experienced crafter the call is open to any stages in crafting.
Above all we want you to have fun and meet some new teammates on the way.

So If you would like to apply or need to know anything else, just ask. We would like you to add your blog address to the application and also 2 projects, can be old or new, that give us an idea, about your style.
