Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. My favourite quote is by Maya Angelou. “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” I hope you join me in my search for my creative side. Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas Challenge at Come and Get It Challenges

This is my card for our annual Christmas Challenge which runs for the Month of December at Come and Get It. Traditional we all take the month off to be able to spend the time with our friends ands and families but what is different this year this that that this year we have decided that this will be our final challenge. We have all enjoyed doing the challenge each week, but due to reasons out of our control, we can no long run the challenge - so the time has come to end it on a good note.  Come and Get It has been running for 6 plus years and I have been on the from nearly the beginning.  I have made so many special friends and enjoyed the challenges using the wonderful images of our lovely sponsors.

For my card I have used an image called Ski Lift  from one of our sponsors Cute as a  Button.

I would like to wish all the design team members , sponsors and participants I have met along this journey a very Merry Christmas and all the Best for 2018.   Remember to enter this last challenge here at Come  and Get It and pop over to our challenge site to enjoy the inspiring cards and projects of our design team. Thank you Cindy and Julie for being such great and inspiring blog hosts and friends.  Thank you for stopping by and keep on crafting.

  1. Judy, you are the greatest friend a person could have, you have been there for Julie and I so much through the time as a member of the blog. You have inspired me by the many projects you have made as well. It maybe our last challenge at Come and Get It but our friendship will live on for years. Thanks again so much for everything. Love you.

  2. It is a pitty, Judy, but we all understand. Blogland is a wonderful place to meet people. I love your beautiful card, my card. Kisses from the sunny Greece.
