Welcome to my crafting blog. After retirement, my husband and I moved to a beautiful location in the Okanagan area of British Columbia. I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. My favourite quote is by Maya Angelou. “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” I hope you join me in my search for my creative side. Thanks for stopping by!

By The Sea I Long To Be

We have another great challenge over at Crafty Cardmakers.  The theme this week is "anything but a card" and my project is a diorama.

I made this diorama using a box I found at a Dollar Store along with a pad of designer called Sail Away by First Edition Paper, clay molds using a Stamperia mold, Pentar Lasur stain, sailing rubber stamps by Stampers Anonymous, and
odds and sods  from my stash.

I took the door off of my box, stained the door and lined the box with my designer paper.

I then decorated the little boxes.

Thank you for stopping by and have a creative week.  Hope you will going us in the Anything Goes challenge.  Remember to pop over to our challenge blog, Crafty Cardmakers to be inspire by our talented design team.

I would like to enter this project in the following Challenges
